Shopping with Grandma and Pat
Today is day 4 (I start counting from the Saturday we get out) of spring break and it was really fun. My grandma came down from Kent and took my sister and me shopping. She also brought down her friend Pat. First we went to the christian book store and i got a cool looking book and this cool wrist band thingy thats black and red striped and says pick Jesus with a guitar pick which is pretty cool. Then we went to Everett mall. We ate lunc at A&W (or at least Sabrina and I did because Grandma and Pat ate at Ivar's) and then went to stores We started off in Zumiez and then went to hot topic and about half the other stores. I ended up getting a cute headband with a black bow on it from Claires and I got a cue peasent skirt from Macy's that starts off light blue and gets darker as it goes down. I'll probably wear it for Easter. After that we had ice cream at Baskin Robins because by that time it was starting to get warm. It's a good thing that at least half our break is warm. I think tomorrow's supposed to be kinda rainy. Oh well at least we got a little warm weather. Back to the rainy season. Maybe I'll call Catherine and we can hang out one day this week or something

Poem by Erma J. Sybil (a.k.a. my grandma)
Hello readers. Thought you'd enjoy this poem by my grandma on my dad's side. This is where I get those poetry genes! Please do not steal the poem because that's not nice. I know none of my regular readers would be if you just happened to stumble across my lovely blog here just floating around in cyberspace, just remember it's copyrighted and stealing is wrong! Have a good spring break. Peace, paz, paix, frieden, pace, vrede, мир, fred, and 和平! Hope I didn't leave out any major languages there.
God Heard!
I stood in the crowd that day,
To hear what Pilate had to say.
"What shall I do with Jesus,
Who is called the Christ?" he asked.
"LET HIM GO," I cried! But no one heard!
A shout, "Crucify Him!"
Oh, how my heart sank low.
As the crowd took up the yell,
Their shouts and jeers thundered in my ears.
And I called out, "NO, DON'T!But no one heard!
Near Golgotha, on a cold hill I stood.
As nails plunged through flesh and wood.
My heart pounded with each hammer beat.
"STOP!" I screamed,"DON'T CRUCIFY MY LORD!"
But the pounding continued--For one one heard!
Shivering, I stayed on the hill and cried.
In the sixth hour, darkness like death overcame me.
Then I heard my Lord's voice echo through the night,
"Father, it is finished. Into your hands I commmit my Spirit."
And I yelled, "WHY HAD HE DIED?" But no one heard!
I awoke in anguish, to a dreary, sunless day.
With weeping heart, I wandered aimlessly away.
I could not eat, or sleep, or even pray,
For what good was life anyway. I cried--
"MY LORD DIED YESTERDAY!" But no one heard!
Sunday morning on the way to the tomb,
I picked a bouquet of poppies, which were in bloom.
The deep-red scarlet reminded me of Jesus' blood,
The white of his purity, the brilliant pink of His love.
I whispered, "I PICKED THESE FOR MY LORD." But no one heard!
Gathering my bouquet, I ran to the tomb.
"Empty!" I wailed. Grief and loneliness overcame me.
Slow of step and hanging head, I turned back to Galilee.
With quivering lips and bated breath, I repeated--
"WHERE HAVE THEY TAKEN MY LORD?" But no one heard!
There's Mary, talking and laughing.
Why isn't she weeping? Wasn't she there when Jesus died?
Doesn't she know our Lord was crucified?
Then I heard someone say, Jesus arose this morning,
Just as the Scriptures said. "YES, YES!" I said, I heard!
Running home with tears of joy streaming down my face,
I began to sing, to praise God and pray.
I thanked Him for eternal life,
For Jesus dying in my place.
And I thanked God because --HE HAD HEARD!

No more pretending to be a messenger pigeon!!!
Hello loyal readers. It seems I have been Justin's wingman for more than long enough. I've been talking to Sierra and dropping hints and taking messages to her from him. Honestly I was really tired of being in the middle of this. Apparently Sierra was too so we came up with a plan. I got Justin's phone number from him and gave it to Sierra. Plus I told him I was really getting tired of it. So now I'm officially out. This messenger pigeon is retiring. In other news I'll be at my dad's house this weekend. That should be fun I guess. On Sunday, after church, we're doing some family pictures with my mom, Sabrina, Linea (my aunt), and Anastasia (my 3 year old cousin). The common theme here is denim and white shirts. Last time it was jewel tones but that one didn't really work out considering my mom and my aunt got into an argument in the middle of Target. I'm optimistic for this one. Believe it or not I actually like watching Anastasia. She's so funny! Also apparently during spring break I'll be at my dad's house for the whole week. Not just stay there for the day and come home again like we did for thanksgiving and christmas break. No we'll be there day and night for the whole week. Well it's a good thing I'll have my violin because I'll be doing a lot of practicing. Good thing I've got a lot new music to work on too. Oh yeah plus there's driving. Oh and a book that I've been meaning to finish. I'll keep myself busy one way or another. Well I smell that Papa Murphy's pizza and it smells yummy so I shall go now. Peace out!

Sorry couldn't bite my tongue
Happy Monday. Not really. Today started off fairly normal but got progressively worse. First I had to jog for 20 minutes in PE and the whole time Griffin was making me want to strangle him by telling me that I wasn't running fast enough all the while he said nothing to the goth kids who were pretty much walking the whole time. The worst thing happened at lunch. Some little blonde munchkin freshman boy started making fun of my friend Catherine and being just a jerk. So this kid apparently knows Catherine who's one of my best friends (don't worry I've got multiple). He sits down at our lunch table and first he's just being stupid by pretending to hit on her. We just kinda rolled our eyes at that. Then when he didn't get the response he wanted he started really being a nimrod. It just so happens that Catherine's favorite animal is a horse (just like you Pepper!). He knew that and started talking to his buddies at the table about how horses are made into dog food. Then he started talking about dead horses on the side of the road. So of course I had to stand up for her so right as I was leaving the cafeteria to go to my locker I told the little blonde munchkin boy to go to hell. I know I really shouldn't have said that but seriously this kid was making me mad. I just couldn't help myself. Besides if we did absolutely nothing he would still keep doing or maybe even try to start it with me and I wouldn't take it. I probably have this innocent look but I just don't take crap from anybody anymore. The day didn't get much worse than that. Although I'm still not even close to being done with the day yet. I still have to go to my driver's ed class because even though the classroom stuff is done I still ahve to go out for a few drives. One of them being today. Right after that my dad will pick me up and take me to Kamiak for EYSO rehearsal. I won;t even get dinner till like 8 or somehting. That's why I had a kiwi and some strawberries a little bit ago. I love trader joe's. We get yummy stuff from there. In other news we got new music in orchestra. We sight read today. The pieces that we got were Legend, Mantras, and Nimrod all of which were pretty fun although Legend and mantras were pretty hard but we can get them. Eventually. It seems that there's a lot more pizzicato in our new pieces. also NOTE TO SELF: GET A MUTE. Sorry. I'll never remember otherwise. I need it for one of the sea chantey variations for the symphony. Well I need to be leaving here in about 15 minutes for my drive and I still need to find out how to squeeze my stand into the top of my case. Buh bye!

65 days
Ok so earlier I went out driving again on the freeway. I actually did really well so I'm getting better. In other news: MY MOM GOT ME THE RELIENT K TICKETS!!!! I am so happy and I'm just counting down till the concert. As of today its 65 days so I totally can't wait. I'm so psyched! I've been wanting to see this band since I heard them in 7th grade. I absolutely love them. I remember how I got hooked too. When I was still in Virginia my youth group went to equip (Speaking of which how did equip go for you Pepper?) and I was in a van with let me see I don't remember everyone but I do remember that Harmony and Jonathan Cox were there oh yeah and Nicholas Maxwell. We had such a good time on that van all the way up there. Plus we were listening and singing along to Relient K's Anatomy of Tongue in Cheek album and we kept playing Sadie Hawkins Dance and singing to it over and over. Wow that was such a long time ago. My dream is finally going to come true of seeing them in concert. I wish I could actually meet them in person but the chance of that happening is worse than winning the lottery but I'll still be singing along to every song! They better play Sadie Hawkins Dance but I think they play that one at every concert since it was the one that made them famous. I am going to be obsessing about this concert for awhile. In other news my mom brought home a really good steak for dinner and a box of See's candy. After we divided it up we up we had like 9 pieces left. They were so yummy! I just love chocolate. Well I'll just post this and I'll post more later!
Relient K!!!!!
Big news! I found out this morning that my favorite band EVER (for 3 years) is FINALLY touring the west coast and coming to Seattle!!!! They're coming to Neumo's at the end of May. I absolutely must go!

For Sierra
Sierra this post is for you. I can't tell you this because I promised Justin I wouldn't TELL you. He never said anything about blogging about it and giving you the blog address. I don't like Justin anymore because today in orchestra class he pretty much told me the only reason he talks to me is because he likes you. Seriously I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at him. If you like him you can have him because I'm done. I'll still be his friend but I'm really not interested anymore. In fact right now I'm really pissed off at him. He was the one who wanted me to ask you if you're single. He also wanted me to drop hints. This is probably more than a hint so don't tell him you read it. Just letting you know.
